Video Archives: Mt.Pinatubo Eruption 1991

This is from the show called Nova and the title of this particular segment is called "In The Path Of A Killer Volcano". It documents the happenings just before Mt. Pinatubo exploded to when the volcanoe finally erupted.



Mt. Pinatubo in Pampanga, Philippines, erupted in the early 90's leaving a catastrophic effect. The Aeta natives, as shown in these pictures, who used to live within the surroundings of the volcano, were forced to come down. Refusing to adapt urban ways of living, they continue to live in poverty at the foot of Mt. Pinatubo.
